An online training channel on YouTube livestream platform, part of the Vietnam Digital 4.0 programme, has debuted in an effort to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grasp online business skills and draw customers during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hanoi (VNA) – An online training channel on YouTubelivestream platform, part of the Vietnam Digital 4.0 programme, has debuted inan effort to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grasp onlinebusiness skills and draw customers during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the first pilot phase, nearly 50 training sessions wereheld with 50-150 trainees, which were livestreamed on YouTube and Google’sHangouts Meet app.

Launched in June 2018 under the auspices of the Ministry ofIndustry and Trade in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City chapter ofVietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Women’s Union and otherpartners nationwide, the programme will continue building a series of free trainingconferences, equipping businesses with skills to develop e-commerce in digitalera.

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said the programmeis expected to train 500,000 SMEs in digital transformation./.
