Quang Nam (VNA) - The Management Board of the My Son Sanctuary WorldCultural Heritage Site is focusing on increasing service quality and offering discountsof 30-50 percent on tickets to attract more visitors to central Quang Nam provinceas COVID-19 is brought under control in Vietnam.
Management Board Director Phan Ho said Towers K and H, which wererestored by Vietnamese and Indian experts during the 2016-2019 period, are now readyto welcome visitors.
Tickets will be cut 30 percent from June 1 to September 1 for touristsand 50 percent for local people visiting in groups.
Children aged under 16 can enter for free, and prices on all souvenirs havebeen cut 10 percent.
Once the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom, My SonSanctuary is located within a hilly landscape in Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyendistrict, about 70 km southwest of central Da Nang city and 40 km from Hoi Anancient town.
It is comprised of eight groups of 71 monuments built from the 7th to13th centuries.
The sanctuary was recognised as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCOin 1999./.
