KualaLumpur (VNA) – A totalof 1,303 schools in Malaysia will be implementing the Dual Language Programme(DLP) in 2018, said the country’s Education Ministry.
The programme was offered to various pilot schools of thecountry in one year, which allows students to study Mathematics and Science inEnglish.
It is expected to help Malaysian youths to increase theircompetitiveness at a global standard. Statistics showed that students in DLP-appliedschools have remarkably improved their English.
Deputy Education Minister of Malaysia Kamalanathan said that theDLP will be launched in more schools across the country in the future.-VNA
