A social enterprise has recently organised a Loose-parts Play for parents and children to experience an unorthodox playground in Hanoi’s walking zone.
With random objects placed within the playground, the children are encouraged to choose a variety of materials, allowing more freedom in their activities than when guided.
Playing with a random, wide range of objects stimulates creativity and imagination. Since 2014, the social enterprise “Think Playgrounds” has created 80 such playgrounds for children in Hanoi and other cities.
Hanoi lacks enough playgrounds for children. Such playgrounds play a role in offering interesting places for children to have fun. -VNA
