Seoul (VNA) - The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s budget carrier T’way Air will operate flights between Incheon and Ho Chi Minh City from December 24, reported the Korea Times on November 6.
As the first low-cost airline of the RoK operating on the route, T’way Air plans to provide services around the week, with planes taking off from Incheon airport at 11:35 am on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and from 10:45 am the other days. They will take nearly three hours and a half to reach Ho Chi Minh City.
Meanwhile, flights from HCM City will depart from 4:00 pm and 3:10 pm, respectively.
According to a T’way Air representative, the carrier pins high hope on the route as Ho Chi Minh City is a popular destination for RoK tourists and many Korean firms have placed their offices here.
Currently, T’way Air operates four domestic and 14 international routes using a fleet of 11 Boeing 737-800s.-VNA
