Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesian police on March 10said that the anti-terror squad Densus 88 arrested six alleged terrorists whowere plotting attacks against police stations and banks in Tolitoli region ofCentral Sulawesi province.
Spokesperson of the provincial police headquartersHari Suprapto said the alleged terrorists were detained in Tolitoli police'sdetention cells and interrogation was underway. Explosive materials to createbombs were also confiscated in the arrest.
Central Sulawesi recently witnessed a string ofterrorism-related violence targeting police, carried out by members of radicalgroups which are still active around the province's city of Poso.
