Jakarta(VNA) – At least eight people, including an infant, were killed after atwo-storey boarding house in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, caught fire on May29.
Tinton YudhaRiambodo, Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Perak PortPolice, said the fire that broke out at 2.30 pm local time.
According to ownerof the boarding house, it had 20 occupants. The eight bodies that were found haveyet to be identified, as the victims were badly burnt.
Police are workingto find out the exact number of deaths and the cause of the fire.-VNA
