Indonesia’s anti-terror force on May 16 arrested three suspects in the outskirt of the capital city of Jakarta after a series of suicide attacks in recent days killed 32 people.

Hanoi(VNA) – Indonesia’s anti-terror force on May 16 arrested three suspects in theoutskirt of the capital city of Jakarta after a series of suicide attacks inrecent days killed 32 people.

Two men andone woman were separately captured at two different locations, Kunciran Indukand Kunciran Indah villages, Tanggerang town’s Police Chief Harry Kurniawansaid.

During the raid,the police seized a flag of the Islamic State (IS) and many weapons, Kurniawanwas quoted by local media as saying.

The IS concededthat it involved in a series of attacks in three churches on May 13 in Surabayacity, the provincial capital of East Java and a suicide bombing in the policeheadquarters in the city on May 14, and a sword-wielding assault in the policeheadquarters in Riau province on May 16.

The attackstotally killed 32 people and injured dozens of others.-VNA
