The exhibition is being held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024), which ended nine years of resistance war against French colonialists.
It showcases 300 documentaries and artefacts divided into three sections: Road to Dien Bien Phu; Dien Bien Phu - The Decisive Strategic Battle; and The Pride of Dien Bien.
The museum introduces many valuable artefacts, such as the hat and parachute hammock that President Ho Chi Minh used in the Viet Bac war zone.
The exhibition introduces bold imprints of the strategically-decisive campaign behind the Dien Bien Phu Victory, which “resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world.”
The exhibition is open to the public until October 20 at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, 19 Ngoc Ha Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi./.
