Hanoi’s Liberation Day: 70th anniversary celebrations to go vibrant

A wide range of cultural activities and programmes are set to mark the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954), according to the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter.

These events will take place in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Notably, the exhibition "Memories of Hanoi - 70 Years" will run from October 2 to 13 at the Phung Hung Mural Space.

In addition, the Heritage House at 87 Ma May Street will host a thematic exhibition and tour show titled "Stories of Hang Street" from October 4 to December 31.

The Hoan Kiem Lake Cultural Information Center will feature a photo exhibition titled "Hanoi - The Takeover Day in 1954," along with a screening of the documentary Memories of Hanoi.

At the Heritage Villa at 49 Tran Hung Dao, Hang Bai Ward, a photo exhibition called "Hanoi – A Time to Remember" will also be held./.
