The team has nine members led by Cu Quang Anh, deputy chief inspectorate of thecity’s Construction Department.
The team will inspect apartment’s investors, owners, users, operators andmanagement boards in following State regulations.
It will also scrutinise documents on management of the apartments andmaintenance funds between investors and management boards.
The team will inspect commonly-owned areas of apartment buildings to identifyspaces that can possibly be encroached or used for wrong purposes.
The team has been asked to announce the inspection schedule and imposepunishments following regulations as well as report the inspection results tothe director of the municipal Construction Department.
According to local authorities, there are many models to manage apartmentbuildings in the capital city, but shortcomings remain, which lead tocomplaints and disputes.
Recently, many residents of apartment buildings have protested againstinvestors who failed to deliver the apartments as committed or due to otherproblems.
Hanoi’s authorities were ordered to report about the protests against investorsof real estate projects to the Construction Ministry.-VNA
