Property transactions in Hanoi rise 13.8 percent

Hanoi (VNA) – Up to 1,650 property transactions were successful in Hanoi in January, upby 13.8 percent from December 2017, reported the Ministry of Construction’sHousing and Property Market Management Department.

Almost all transactions were for the high- and mid-end segments and are locatedin convenient places, the department said.

Some projects had many sales in January, including Season Avenue, Ha Dong; AnBinh City-Bac Tu Liem; Sunshine Riverside Tay Ho and Romance Plaza, Ha Dong.

Meanwhile, there were 1,900 successful transactions in the southern metropolisHo Chi Minh City, up by 8.6 percent compared with the figure recorded inDecember 2017.

Customers paidattention to apartments having one or two bedrooms and price at about 1 billionVND (44,000 USD) per unit, but the supply was low.

Average offeredprice of an apartment in January rose 0.14 percent against the December price,of which, the price surged 0.17 percent for high-end apartments, 0.05 percentfor mid-end apartments and 0.56 percent for affordable apartments.
