Hanoi (VNA) – Vice Chairman of theHanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung has suggested Hanoi and the Indonesiancapital of Jakarta expand cooperation in urban planning, smart cityconstruction, public transport and environmental protection.

Hung made the proposal at his reception onMarch 27 for a delegation of urban planning officials from Jakarta.

He said that the two cities are facingsimilar challenges in urbanisation, environment and public transport.

The vice chairman expressed his hope thatthe Jakarta delegation’s visit will connect the two sides’ enterprises, thusdeepening bilateral relations.-VNA
