Hanoi (VNA) – A forum will be held to promote tourism among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV), as heard at a press briefing in Hanoi on July 25.
The forum, slated for July 30 to August 1 in Myanmar will be organised by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) to boost cooperation in tourism and banking, thus raising effectiveness in economic affiliation among the countries.
The event will include a Tourism Ministerial Meeting, an exhibition showcasing the CLMV nations’ respective tourism products and the inauguration of a BIDV branch office and a Hoang Anh Gia La-funded five-star hotel in Myanmar.
The event is expected to be held every two years.-VNA
