Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese touristscan experience a trip to the Republic of Korea (RoK) from now to December 6 atthe Lotte Center in Hanoi, through a programme hosted by the Korea TourismOrganisation (KTO).
While travel is restricted across the worlddue to the pandemic, KTO organised the event for Vietnamese tourists tointroduce Korean tourism, recall memories of trips to the RoK and offer avirtual tour to the RoK.
A booth introducing Korean tourism andculture is available with various activities for eight weeks. Visitors willhave a chance to join mini-games to win prizes, wear traditional clothes, learnto make handicraft souvenirs and discover the country through virtual reality(VR) technology.
At weekends, special events will takeplace to introduce different themes of Korean tourism such as a photoexhibition, K-pop cover dance, a quiz show, Halloween and Pepero Day (KoreanValentine’s Day).
Activities organised during the 'Hi! Korea'programme are designed for all ages and genders, according to ParkJong-sun, head of KTO Vietnam.
“Through the event, we expect to attract moreVietnamese tourists to come to the RoK when the pandemic ends,” he said.
“We want to have more Vietnamese tourists whoare curious about the RoK. Vietnam is an important market to us, as always.”
The event will take place on the first floorof the Lotte Center, 54 Lieu Giai Street, Hanoi./.
