(Photo: VNA)Replying to the Vietnam News Agency’s question at theministry’s regular press conference on April 6, Hang said that as soon asMalaysia Airlines Flight MH370 went missing on March 8, 2014, relevant agenciesof Vietnam promptly and proactively made response plans, actively sharedinformation, and coordinated with the Malaysian side as well as other countrieswishing to conduct search and rescue on a large scale, while assisting foreignreporters in covering the case.
Vietnam’s efforts at that time were recognised by theinternational community, along with the domestic and foreign media, she went on.
Sofar, authorities haven’t made any conclusions about the case. Therefore, the commentsin the documentary, “MH370: The Plane that Disappeared”, made without anofficial conclusion from authorities are untrue, groundless, and do nottruthfully reflect efforts by relevant agencies of Vietnam, causing discontentin the public in Vietnam, she noted.
“Wedemand the film production company and maker accurately reflect Vietnam’scontributions to the search and rescue operations for Flight MH370 of Malaysiaand remove, amend the inappropriate contents,” the deputy spokeswomanemphasised./.
