Thai Nguyen(VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and otherNational Assembly (NA) deputies of northern Thai Nguyen province on October 12met with local voters to brief them on the planned agenda of the NA’s upcomingfourth session.
At the meeting, the deputies and people in BaoLy commune, Phu Binh distric, talkedabout a number of pressing issues such as the transparency of personnelrotation, policies targeting revolutionary contributors and Agent Orangevictims, the management of natural resources, and the fight agiantstcorruption.
Voters also mentioned some problems facing theirlocalities, including obstacles in seeking funds for the construction of commune-leveladministrations’ headquarters, overloading at kindergartens, and policies foragricultural development.
Minh also informed the locals about thecountry’s socio-economic development, external affairs and border and maritimeissues since the beginning of 2017.
Opinions raised by local voters were summarizedby the NA deputies and will be reported to authorised agencies for settlement.
Meetings between NA deputies and voters are partof activities before and after each session of the parliament.
The fourth session of the 14th NA is scheduledto open on October 23.-VNA
