Director of the city’sTourism Promotion Centre Nguyen Xuan Binh said the centre offereddiscounts and promotions, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives,Conferences and Exhibitions) tourism, to bring in tourists during thelow season from September to December.
Additionally, the city is seeking ways to promote the city’s image whileexpanding its promotional programmes in key domestic and internationalmarkets.
Da Nang’s tourism sector set up atourism promotion plan for 2015-2020, with the overall objective ofsustainable tourism growth in the future.
According to the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 3million visitors came to Da Nang between January and October, generatingnearly 7,900 billion VND (376 million USD) for the sector, a 28.7percent year-on-year increase.-VNA
