Da Nang ready for peak tourism season

Da Nang rolled in the tourism season with a programme titled ‘Sea tourism season kick-off” from April 26 to May 2 with various activities taking place at East Sea Park, beaches and Son Tra peninsula.

As the weather is getting hotter, sea tourism has entered its peak season. With long pristine sandy beaches, the central coastal city of Da Nang always welcomes a huge influx of visitors during summer, especially after the city was ranked 15 among 52 must-visit destinations worldwide in 2019 the US-based newspaper by New York Times. The municipal tourism sector has prepared carefully for the upcoming tourism season.

Da Nang rolled in the tourism season with a programme titled ‘Sea tourism season kick-off” from April 26 to May 2 with various activities taking place at East Sea Park, beaches and Son Tra peninsula.

Festivals and joyful events will vibrate Da Nang during summer, including Ironman competition, an international firework festival and international food festival, among others. They are expected to draw a huge influx of domestic and international tourists to the coastal city.

Besides introducing attractive tourism products, Da Nang tourism sector will also enhance measures on security and safety, as well as environmental protection to ensure visitors’ best experience.

Local tourism authority has also persuaded transportation service providers to install monitoring cameras in coaches. Some 160 vehicles with over 30 seats operated within the city have had CCTV installed in order to ensure safety for tourists.-VNA
