Illustrative image (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 11,132 cases of COVID-19 in 61 localities during 24 hours from 4pm November 22 to 4pmNovember 23, including 6 imported cases, according to the Ministry ofHealth.
Ho Chi Minh City continued to record the highest number of infectionswith 1,204, followed by Ba Ria-Vung Tau province with 709and Binh Duong with 698. Binh Duong also registered an additional 28,000 casesin the national data system after verifying information from previous days.
The national tally reached 1,143,967.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 5,295 patientsnationwide are in serious conditions, with 456 requiring invasiveventilation and 9 on life support (ECMO).
On the day, the country saw 167 deaths from thedisease. The death toll now hits 24,118.
A further 1,034 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number ofrecoveries to 911,310.
By November 22, the country had injected over 110.91 million dosesof vaccines to date, with more than 43.57 million people now fullyinoculated./.
