Vietnam logs 10,321 COVID-19 cases on Nov. 22

Hanoi (VNA) - A total of 10,321 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Vietnamon November 22, taking the total number of infections to 1,104,835.

Ofthe new cases, 22 were imported and quarantined upon arrival.

TheMinistry of Health also announced a further 190 COVID-19 relatedfatalities.

Comparedto the previous day, the number of daily cases increased nationally by 432. HoChi Minh City topped the list with 1,547 new infections, followed by BinhDuong with 688 and Tay Ninh with 564.

Thecapital city of Hanoi reported 260 new cases.

Theother infections were found in Can Tho (535 cases), Dong Nai (522), DongThap (507), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (399), Soc Trang (398), Bac Lieu (388), Binh Thuan(370), Ben Tre (312), Vinh Long (307), Binh Phuoc (277), An Giang (243), Ca Mau(242), Kien Giang (221), Tra Vinh (202), Hau Giang (194), Bac Ninh (181), KhanhHoa (168), Dak Lak (166), Ha Giang (161), Lam Dong (134), Binh Dinh (116), ThuaThien Hue (111), Gia Lai (89), Long An (85), Quang Nam (80), Tien Giang (77),Nghe An (70), Dak Nong (59), Ninh Thuan (59), Thanh Hoa (57), Nam Dinh (52), QuangNgai (45), Vinh Phuc (39), Thai Binh (38), Quang Ninh (36), Phu Yen (32), Da Nang(32), Ha Tinh (30), Tuyen Quang (29), Dien Bien (28), Quang Tri (26), Ha Nam(24), Hai Duong (17), Bac Giang (16), Hung Yen (16), Hoa Binh (11), Kon Tum(11), Phu Tho (9), Hai Phong (5), Thai Nguyen (4), Lao Cai (4), Cao Bang (3), SonLa (2), and Yen Bai (1).

Afurther 4,776 recoveries were reported on the same day, taking the total numberof patients given the all-clear to 910,276.

Morethan 108 million vaccine doses have been administered to date; almost42 million people have now received two doses./.

Hanoi tightens control, prevention of monkeypox
