Hanoi (VNA) – Top leaders of Vietnam have sent messages ofcongratulations to their Chinese counterparts on China’s 68th National Day (October 1).
Themessages were cabled by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, PresidentTran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National AssemblyChairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to Chinese Party General Secretary and PresidentXi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Presidium of the NationalPeople’s Congress Zhang Dejiang.
Inthe messages, the Vietnamese leaders congratulated the Chinese people on their achievementsover the past 68 years and wished the 19th National Congress of theCommunist Party of China (CPC) a success.
Theyexpressed their belief that under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee,the Chinese people will successfully accomplish the target of building amodern, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and socialist State.
TheVietnamese leaders also affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnamattach great importance to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation withChina, and willing to join hands with their Chinese counterparts to developrelations between the two Parties and States in a stable and healthy manner,bringing practical benefits to their people and contributing to peace,stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
Onthis occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh alsoextended congratulatory messages to Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi andForeign Minister Wang Yi.-VNA
