Bangkok (VNA) – A series of bombs exploded in thefour southern provinces of Thailand in the evening of May 20, injuring severalpeople.
The coordinated attacks occurred at around 7pm, targeting automatedteller machines (ATM), security bases and power poles in Yala, Narathiwat,Pattani and Songkhla provinces.
Police said no deaths were reported and several locals werewounded. Security has been tightened in the southern region.
At present, no individuals or organisations concede toconduct those bombings.-VNA
