Binh Thuan looks to become paragliding hub

Known for its beautiful scenery and beaches, the south-central coastal province of Binh Thuan is a popular destination for water sport lovers and also paragliding.

With favourable weather conditions, the province hopes to become a paragliding hub in the region, attracting more tourists to its coast.

Mt Hon Hong is known as “Pink Mountain” and a sanctuary for paragliding in Vietnam, lying just 45 minutes from Phan Thiet city. It has a take-off height of 200 metres on a flat surface next to a beach, which is large enough to accommodate up to 10 open canopies at any one time.

Its height and gentle slopes with few obstacles make it suitable for paragliding.

From the top of the mountain, visitors will be overwhelmed by the magnificent beauty Mother Nature offers, making it a great spot for paragliding.

Binh Thuan has introduced a project to develop into a tourism - water sports hub in Vietnam, with a focus on new adventure sports./.
