Hanoi (VNA) – Air Seoul Inc., a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines of the Republic of Korea, announced on September 26 that itwill open a new route to Hanoi as from December 16, 2019.
As scheduled, Air Seoul will offer seven flights per week tothe Vietnamese capital.
This is one of the new strategies of the company to diversifyservices, especially on the Southeast Asian routes, amid lower demand fortravel to Japan.
Demand on the Japaneseroutes has fallen sharply since early July when Tokyoimplemented restrictions on the export of key materials to the Republic of Korea.
Koreanairlines have halted or reduced services on their Japanese routes, whileexpanding flights to other countries./.
