Hanoi (VNA) - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced on March 12that it will shut down its headquarters in Manila, the Philippines for cleaningand disinfecting, after one of its visitors was tested positive for the novelcoronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
Bank operations will continuewith ADB staff working from home but it was uncertain when the compound willreopen.
ADB Vice President forAdministration and Corporate Management Deborah Stokes said the safety ofclients, staff and their families is of utmost importance to the bank.
The bank is also providingsupport for staff who contacted with the visitor./.
