Young Vietnamese army officers join exchange in Cambodia

A delegation of young officers from the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) joined an exchange with staff, lecturers and students of an officer training school for the Royal Cambodian Army on November 20.

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation ofyoung officers from the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) joined an exchange with staff,lecturers and students of an officer training school for the Royal CambodianArmy (RCA) on November 20. 

The delegation was led by head of theMilitary Youth Board under the VPA’s General Department of Politics Dinh QuocHung.

Both sides recalled difficulties overcome bythe VPA and RCA during their struggles for national independence.

Hung called on the two countries’ young armyofficers to enhance friendship and exchanges.

The Vietnamese officers will shareexperience with several units of the RCA.

The exchange programme will last tillNovember 25.-VNA
