Hanoi (VNA) – As many as 300 university students participated in a forum entitled “Young National Assembly of Vietnam” on November 25 in Hanoi, which simulates the legislature’s plenary meeting.

The event was part of the activities of the “Young National Assembly of Vietnam” project –Phase II, jointly implemented by the NA Office and the Embassy of the UK and the British Council in Hanoi.
The phase, which started in July 2015, aims to create opportunities for young generations to raise their voices on issues of their concern.
It is also expected to enhance youth’s understanding of the organisation and operation of the legislative body while facilitating exchanges between them and young deputies of the 13 th NA.
Participants discussed how to improve the training of English for special purposes in universities and colleges.
They suggested universities facilitate students’ access to employment and internship opportunities at state-owned agencies, organisations and enterprises.
