Participants stressed the need for enhancing State management, steppingup communication efforts and involving all stakeholders in this field.
They also suggested the development of effective equipment anddevices to save energy, as well as alternative energy sources such aswind and solar power.
A number of activities, including anexhibition on energy-saving cooking devices, models for growing cleanvegetables, biogas technology, and solar power systems were alsoorganised as part of the workshop.
The event was part of theNorwegian Church Aid Vietnam (NCA)–funded project to enhance thecapacity for climate change mitigation and adaptation in vulnerableareas in Thua-Thien Hue province, such as Hue city and Phong Diendistrict.
