Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese firm VoTrong Nghia Architects won two prizes at the 10th World Architecture Festival,which took place in Berlin, Germany, from November 15-17.
The company won the Office – Future Projectscategory with the Viettel Offsite Studio. The Vietnamese telecom group’s newstudio is located on a slight slope between a lake and treelined landscape onthe outskirts of Hanoi. The six V-shaped wall-blocks which were freelyarranged follow the lay of land and are connected by an open corridor.
It also won the House – Completed Buildingsaward for Binh House in Ho Chi Minh City. The house serves as a family home andsets a new benchmark for dense urban living. Architecturally the house draws ona strong modernist tradition.
The company has entered the event three timesearlier and brought home eight awards.
