Vietnam supports an independent and prosperous State of Palestine andall peoples in the region living in peace and security, said aVietnamese diplomat.
Envoy Pham Quang Vinh, Permanent Deputy Representative of the VietnameseDelegation to the UN, delivered the statement at the UN GeneralAssembly’s plenary session in New York on Nov. 30 on the occasion of theInternational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian.
Vinh saidall concerned parties should pursue dialogues and negotiations in linewith the UN Security Council’s Resolutions and respect the Madrid Termsof Reference and the Arab peace initiative.
Vietnam highly valuesthe efforts of four countries, the Arab League, regional countries andthe UN to revive the Mid-East peace process to settle the currenthumanitarian and political crisis, he said.
The ambassadoraffirmed that Vietnam will joint efforts of the international communityto seek solutions to the Israel-Palestine conflict and peacefully settlethe Arab-Palestine conflict to achieve a equitable, comprehensive andpeace./.
