VN-Index rises slightly on March 28

The VN-Index fluctuated around 1,170 points on March 28 when 7,003 billion VND worth of shares were sold.

Hanoi (VNA) –The VN-Index fluctuated around 1,170 points on March 28 when 7,003 billion VNDworth of shares were sold.

In the Ho Chi MinhStock Exchange, the index sometimes turned red due to careful tradingactivities of investors.

A decline was seenin shares of banks, while a rise of 1.02 percent and 0.95 percent was recordedin construction and real estate groups.

At the end of the day, the VNXALL-Index, the common index between the southernand northern bourses, was down 0.63 points to 1,616.7 points

However, the VN-Indexrose slightly by 0.51 points to 1,172.24 points. At the end of the day, nearly209 million shares were sold with total value of 6.16 trillion VND.

Meanwhile, the VN30 rose0.79 points to 1,151.09 points. Transaction volume reached about 42 millionunits worth 2.26 trillion VND.

In the Hanoi StockExchange, the HNX-Index, continued dropping 0.73 points to settle at 132.56points, while 44 million shares were sold at 837 billion VND.

The HNX30 fell 0.82points to 252.89 points.

At the same time,UPCOM-Index also lost 0.52 points to 59.75 points. Transaction volume was 23million units worth 824 billion VND.-VNA
