VN-Index loses over 18 points on June 12

The VN-Index on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) dropped 18.26 points to settle at 1,020.76 points on June 12, with over 212 million shares changed hands at a value of over 6.38 trillion VND.

Hanoi (VNA) - The VN-Index on theHo Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) dropped 18.26 points to settle at 1,020.76points on June 12, with over 212 million shares changed hands at a value of over6.38 trillion VND.

The VN30-Index dropped 16.09 points to 1,008.76 points,with 79 million shares sold worth over 3.3 trillion VND.

The best sellers in the day included VIC and VNMwith respective rises of 100 VND and 900 VND per share. Meanwhile, the pricesof BVH, CTG, GAS, MNS, SAB and VCB suffered a drop of between 650-4,000 VND pershare.

In the VN30 group, the prices of 26 codes reduced, while rise was seen in four codes.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index was also down, losing 1.97 points to116.49 points, with transaction value reaching nearly 779 billion VND.

The HNX30 closed at 208.9 points, a drop of 5.05 points with 35 million shareschanged hands for 668 billion VND.

The UPCOM-Index on the Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCoM) saw a slight dropof 0.64 points to 53 points, with 14.3 million shares worth 468 billion VNDchanged hands.-VNA
