VN Finance Conference to open in Hanoi

The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and the International Data Group will host the Vietnam Finance Conference and Exhibition in Hanoi from September 28-30.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and the International Data Group willhost the Vietnam Finance Conference and Exhibition in Hanoi fromSeptember 28-30.

Themed, “Restructuring NationalFinance: Policy Challenges and Linking – Integrating Trends”, the eventis a new version of the annual Conference on Vietnam Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT) in Finance, the financial sectors’largest and only ICT conference over the past seven years.

According to the MoF, the event also aims to expand linkages withother ministries and departments through the Treasury and BudgetManagement Information Management System, as well as help community andbusiness access to public services of different agencies andorganisations through a one-port model.

At theevent, experts will focus on discussing measures and orientations toeffectively apply ICT linked with administrative reform and graduallypromoting e-administrative services to contribute to realising thedevelopment strategy of the financial sector.

Public, business and residential financial restructuring, an importantpart of the MoF’s financial development strategy for the 2010 – 2020period, will also be discussed.

Additionally, theorganising board will open an exhibition introducing an overview of ICTdevelopment strategy for the financial sector, ICT with administrativereform, linkage and integration trends as well as displaying products ofdomestic and foreign suppliers to develop ICT applications for thefinancial sector./.
