Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tran Ngoc Thachpresented his credentials to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed AlNahyan in UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi .
Atthe ceremony, the newly accredited ambassador conveyed State PresidentTruong Tan Sang’s regards and best wishes to the President of UAE. Hesaid during his term, he will give priority to boosting bilateral tiestowards multifaceted cooperation in line with the two governments andpeople’s aspirations.
He said that theVietnam-UAE relations have developed markedly during 19 years after thetwo sides established their diplomatic ties, creating a foundation forcooperation in all sectors, especially in trade and investment.
For his part, President Nahyan voiced his thanks to the VietnameseGovernment, affirming that the United Arab Emirates will boost thetwo countries’ relations.
He expressed his hope that Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang will visit the UAE in near future./.
