A road in Vinh Phuc (Photo: vinhphuctv.vn)Vinh Phuc (VNA) – Revenueof transport companies in the northern province of Vinh Phuc exceeded 3.2trillion VND (138.4 million USD) in the first nine months of 2019, up 10percent year on year.
Of the sum, goods transportcontributed nearly 2.5 trillion VND, while passenger transport made up over 730billion VND.
During the reviewed period, theprovince’s transport sector carried close to 19 million passengers and morethan 25 tonnes of goods in total.
In the coming time, the sectorplans to focus on improving service quality, attracting the participation ofmore economic sectors, and encouraging the development of public transport.
Currently, Vinh Phuc is home toseven cooperatives, 41 businesses and 251 households offering passengertransport services. The figures for goods transportation are 17 cooperatives,428 firms, and more than 1,000 households, respectively./.
