Hanoi (VNA) — Chairman of Vingroup Pham Nhat Vuong has beennamed among the top 50 theme park influencers in the world for his innovationand creativity in the global theme park industry in 2019.

Vuong is the first Vietnamese person honoured by Bloobloop, a leadingonline resource for professionals working in the visitor attractions sector.

Bloobloop says Vuong is Vietnam’s first billionaire and heads up aconglomerate with interests in real estate, retail, healthcare and theme parks.

Under the Vinpearl brand, Vingroup operates hotels, resorts and twoVinpearl Land theme parks.

Now in his early 50s, Vuong studied in Russia and started a popular instantnoodle business in the Ukraine in the 1990s before moving back to Vietnam.
