Hanoi (VNA) – Vinalines Logistics Vietnam Joint Stock Company (VinalinesLogistics) will improve logistics services and expand operational network in abid to realise its target of attaining at least 10 percent in profit growth.
General Director of the company Mai Le Loi said that the firm will open more warehousesin Ha Nam and Vinh Phuc provinces to serve demand of Honda Vietnam CompanyLimited.
Anexpansion will take place at a logistics centre of the Hanoi-based Hoa LacHi-Tech Park to satisfy the need of Japanese investors, he added.
Regarding domestic logistics activities, increasing the number of refrigeratedcontainers on North-South transport route and improving door-to-door deliveryservices will be focused.
Meanwhile, the firm will cooperate with foreign partners to develop itsinternational maritime logistics. For railway transport, the company will workto better capacity on the route from Hai Phong and Yen Vien-Dong Dang toChina’s Nanjing and then European countries.
Touchingon the company’s performance in 2018, Loi said that Vinalines Logistics rakedin an estimated 3.5 trillion VND (150.8 million USD) in total revenue, and over20 billion VND (861,700 USD) in after-tax profit.-VNA
