Viglacera Corporation, one of the leading companies in the buildingmaterial industry, on March 6 began the expansion of itshigh-quality Granite tiles factory at Tien Hai industrial park in theMekong Delta province of Thai Binh.
Theexpansion is scheduled to complete in the third quarter, lifting thetotal capacity of the factory to 3.5 million tonnes as well as creatingmore 150 jobs.
In particular, the new facilitywill operate in line with the ISO14000 standards on environment and willbe issued a certificate of a “green factory” in the second quarter ofthis year.
The factory’s tiles products will be sold on the domestic market and exported to Europe, Taiwan, and Indonesia.-VNA
