The International Business Awards – IBA Stevie Awards have been described bythe New York Post as the Oscars for international business. The awards werecreated in 2002 to honour and generate public recognition of the achievementsand positive contributions of organisations and working professionalsworldwide.
Less than a year after being launched in March 2017, the Viettel e-walletservice in Burundi built a distribution system with nearly 16,800 agents covering86 percent of Burundi.
It is currently Burundi’s largest mobile money distribution service with 1.4million customers, making up 60 percent of the market share./.
