Hanoi (VNA) - Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Head of the General Department of Politicsunder the Vietnam People's Army, hosted a reception in Hanoi on May 8 for adelegation of army officers of the Republic of Korea (RoK) led by Major GeneralKwon Sam from the country’s Defense Ministry.

During the reception, the Vietnameseofficer affirmed that cooperation between the two countries have developedfruitfully across fields, noting that the defence cooperation between the twosides has recorded positive results, contributing to further deepening the bilateraldefence ties.

For his part, Major General Kwon expressedhis joy at the flourishing development of the relations between the two nationsin recent times, expressing his belief that this will help bolster theVietnam-RoK cooperation in the coming time.-VNA
