Hanoi (VNA) – Two frigates of the Vietnam Navy arrivedat Dagang port in Qingdao, Shandong province, on April 21, to attendmultilateral naval activities marking the 70th anniversary of the Navyof the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

According to the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) daily, thevoyage of the 015-Tran Hung Dao and the 011-Dinh Tien Hoang is commanded by Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hung, Deputy Commanderand Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4.

Vietnam’s participation inthe event aims to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two naviesand the two militaries in particular and the all-round Vietnam - China bilateralrelations in general.-VNA
