Vietnamese, Korean language contest winners named

PhanThi Thuy Dung from the Da Nang University of Foreign Languages won thespecial prize - a scholarship for a master’s course at the ForeignLanguage University in the Republic of Korea. Seo Min Young from Ho ChiMinh City’s Social Science and Humanity University became the bestKorean student, with a special prize of 2,000 USD.

The nextbiggest prize, worth 1,500 USD, came to Thai Thi Kim Phuong from Ho ChiMinh City’s Social Science and Humanity University, and Jang Hye Jinfrom the Hanoi University of Teachers’ Training.

Launched in2007, the contest has drawn the participation of Vietnamese and Koreanstudents studying in different colleges in Vietnam.-VNA

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
