Products such asdried rice vermicelli, fish sauce, cashew nuts, dried longan and coffee havebeen introduced by Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro) and Hello-5 JSC.
Of note, KingCashew Nut Ltd., Co. which represents Hapro in Hong Kong, has worked with theVietnamese association in Hong Kong to open a booth featuring Vietnamese dishesat the event.
Apart fromVietnam, the Southeast Asia section within the carnival also includes boothsset up by Thailand and Malaysia.
During thecarnival, from October 27 to November 4, participating countries andterritories are also putting on traditional artperformances.
Previously abiennially event, from this year on the Hong Kong Food Carnival will be heldannually due to its increasing popularity.-VNA
