During his stay, he held working sessions with Governor ofTamanrasset province Doumi Djillali and leaders of the provincial Chamber ofCommerce and Industry, during which both sides discussed respective socio-economicdevelopment, business opportunities and specific measures to further liftbilateral economic ties.
The provincial authorities expressed wish to boost ties withVietnam in the fields of trade, agriculture, mining and tourism.
On the occasion, the embassy partnered with the provincialChamber of Commerce and Industry to hold a round-table seminar to introduce opportunitiesfor bilateral cooperation in export-import and investment, with more than 30firms taking part.
Speaking at the event, Tru stressed the need to clearexisting barriers to trade and investment, refine synchronous legal frameworkwith support measures, and make it easier for the two countries’ enterprises tojoin each other’s market.
He also unveiled a plan to hold a business forum on tourismscheduled for September to which Tamanrasset’s travel agencies will be invited.
