Vietnam and Uzbekistan have discussed concrete measures to boost theircooperation in various fields during an ongoing political consultationat deputy foreign ministerial level in Hanoi.
During the event from March 12 – 15, the two sides exchanged opinions on many regional and international issues.
They shared the view that the Vietnam – Uzbekistan political anddiplomatic ties have seen fine developments while agreeing to enhancethe exchange of delegations at all levels. They agreed to support eachother in the international arena, particularly through the UnitedNations.
At the event, both countries agreed tointensify economic-trade cooperation by improving the operation ofrelevant inter-governmental committees.
Theywill increase their collaboration in strong fields such as oil and gas,textile and garments, footwear, aquaculture and animal husbandry.-VNA
