Vietnam - U.S. Relations: Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development

Nearly 30 years after establishing diplomatic ties, Vietnam and the US have made significant progress in their bilateral cooperation, with the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership becoming deeper and more substantial. In September 2023, the two nations officially elevated their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development, opening doors for expanded collaboration across various sectors.
