Vietnam TV tower to be built by joint stock company

The Prime Minister has allowed the Vietnam Television (VTV) and the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) to set up a joint-stock company to invest in the building of the Vietnam TV tower project in Hanoi.
The Prime Minister has allowed the Vietnam Television (VTV) and theState Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) to set up a joint-stockcompany to invest in the building of the Vietnam TV tower project inHanoi.

The tower, expected to be one of thetallest of its kind in the world, will be a highlight of the capital’sarchitecture and have huge impact on the television, tourism andinvestment sectors of the city.

It also plays acrucial role in urban development and will be given highest preferentialpolicies according to legal regulations.

The VTVshould seek private business partners with the financial capacity tocontribute capital to the joint-stock company to launch businessservices when the tower is commissioned.

During thepreparation and the implementation of the project, the Prime Ministerwill decide on methods to select contractors to maximise the efficiencyof the project.

The Vietnam TV tower has been designed across over 14 hectares at the urban centre Tay Ho Tay (West of West Lake).-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
