The 2017EIMA Agrimach India, the 5th International Exhibition & Conference onAgricultural Machineries, Equipment and Technologies, seeks to showcasethe best and latest in agri-machineries besides providing an excellentopportunity for Indian and overseas players catering to the entire value chainthrough vertical-based national and international pavilions, according to theorganisers.
MarcoAcerbi, exhibitions department director of the Italian AgriculturalMachinery Manufacturers Federation (FEDERUNACOMA) – one of the organisers– said the machinery displayed at the show could be adapted for both theIndian and Vietnamese markets.
JasmeetSingh, head of agriculture at the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce andIndustry (FICCI), said India too, like Vietnam, faced the challenge of smallland holdings.
“We havehuge lands but cultivable lands for farming are fragmented.”
Headded FICCI was working with FEDERUNACOMA to launch allkinds of farm machinery in India and would like to do the same in Vietnam.-VNA
