At a workingsession with the Anti-corruption Department of the PresidentialAdministration of Russia on April 15, the Vietnamese official expressedhis pleasure at learning their experiences in preventing, detecting andhandling corruption in the country.
The two sides discussed theirrespective state inspection systems and pondered the possibility ofpartnering the two agencies with a memorandum of understanding onsharing information and advice in the fight against corruption in eachcountry.
On the same day, Tranh and his entourage worked with theRussian Supreme Court, where First Vice Chief Judge Piort Serkovexplained the judicial powers available to crackdown on corrupt publicservants.
Earlier on April 14, the Vietnamese GovernmentInspectorate delegation talked with a Russian Auditing Agency delegationled by Vice President Vera Chistova.
Inspector General Tranhsaid the Vietnamese Government and people highly valued Russia’s helpand assistance. The two sides then discussed how the auditing sector canbattle corrupt behaviour./.
